JOY CHALET: The Joy Chalet is one
bedroom, one & half bath, 2- story, 800 SF woodlands
chalet.
AMENITIES:
Be outrageously spoiled by the intimate luxury of
this romantic woodlands vacation cabin rental. We lovingly furnished and decorated
it with an eye toward beauty and comfort with extra special touches
to pamper you: awesome massage chair, plush
king bed, sumptuous bedding, fully equipped kitchen with
quality cookware, hot tub, jetted bath tub, high speed wireless
Internet, HDTV/DVD with movie library, gas log fireplace
with remote control, beautiful furnishings &
more!
The Joy Chalet is a warm, inviting home rather
than a "vacation rental house."
 
The Joy Chalet is a two story home set at the
edge of a 33 acre woodlands. Photos are of the front and back
of the chalet.
LOCATION:
The Joy Chalet is conveniently located at the south
edge of Asheville (1 mile from I - 26, Exit 40)
close to restaurants and
shopping. It’s
in a lovely woodlands setting in a quiet residential neighborhood of
cedar chalets and the back yard borders a 33 acre woodlands.
Situated in a peaceful setting, follow the woodlands path in the back
yard through the woods to find the bench swing suspended
from a tree overlooking the creek.

LIVING
ROOM:
As you
enter, you'll first notice a cheerful gas log fireplace with
remote control set in a soaring 20 foot wall with a lovely oil
painting above. The luxurious, very comfortable couches and rich
marble tables are quietly elegant and a perfect nest to watch your
flat screen 37" HDTV with simple-to-use built-in DVD. Choose from over 100 movies
in our movie library or watch cable TV. Better yet, it’s the ideal
spot to just peacefully sit and unwind in front of the
fire.
For the fun of it, we’ve provided a vintage
1948 Scrabble board with 100 wooden tiles, a 1961 Monopoly game, a
1974 Easy Money game plus games such as chess, checkers, playing
cards, Yahtzee, etc. In addition, we have selection of enjoyable
paperback novels.
 
Your sumptuous King Bed mattress is luxury indeed!
Sleep on 400 count sheets, butter soft blankets &
elegant comforter.
 
MASTER
BEDROOM SUITE:
Your
romantic upstairs loft bedroom suite features a magnificent tapestry
over a sumptuous Simmons King bed, 400 thread count sheets,
butter-soft blankets and choice of pillows including contour memory
foam. Lay in luxury
while you watch your flat screen TV with a simple-to-use built-in
DVD/VCR. A handsome dresser, chest of drawers and walk-in closet
offer plenty of space for your clothes. And, best of all, an amazing
Human Touch Technology Massage Chair will send you to heaven! It’s
our favorite ultimate pleasure. A tasteful bathroom with a
Jacuzzi bathtub/shower and sumptuously thick cotton towels complete
the master suite. Oh,
don’t you love to be spoiled!
 
Your
eat-in kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, stainless
refrigerator with ice/water in door & dishwasher.
KITCHEN:
Your delightful eat-in kitchen is
fully equipped! You have full size new appliances including
refrigerator with ice/water in the door, ceramic glass cooktop with
self-cleaning oven, dishwasher, microwave, and disposal. Enhance your meals by
serving them on our festive hand painted dinnerware, heavy glasses
and quality silverware.
You’ll find sharp knives, a multitude of pots, pans, bake
dishes, cookie sheets, cake pans, pizza pan, muffin pans, hand
mixer, toaster, blender, waffle iron, coffeemaker and even a coffee
grinder for your freshly brewed coffee. You’ll find a selection of
spices and a few other goodies as well. Tucked away in a corner of
the kitchen, you’ll find a full size washer and dryer for your
convenience.

BACK PORCH &
YARD:
Step out your back door onto a wonderful
screened, covered porch with roll down shades for added
privacy. Relax in an
intimate two-person lounger hot tub and view the woods and wildlife
in your back yard.
Drink a morning cup of coffee in the deck chairs or venture
out into the yard to enjoy the picnic area and have a BBQ. Ah, the romance of it
all!
Central air conditioning is
available although seldom needed in these Blue
Ridge Mountains.
Just past the living room is the
eat-in kitchen and pretty powder room with faux painted
walls.

We’ve had a great time creating a nurturing
restful atmosphere here in the Blue Ridge
Mountains.
We’ve newly furnished, painted and supplied our house with
everything to make your visit a dream vacation. This is our favorite place
in the world and we’re thrilled to share our enchanted little chalet
with you.

the frequent visitors who wander through our back yard
woodlands area....
 
Just outside is a path
that leads into the woodlands and ends at an enchanting bench swing
overlooking the charming creek.
